CEREC
Most dental restorations (such as dental crowns) need to be created in a dental laboratory that is separate from dental clinics. CEREC is a tool used to create restorations directly in a dental office. Having this tool allows us to make ceramic restorations on the same day as your appointment. This means you won’t need to wait for a second appointment to have your restorations secured in place in your mouth.
Primescan Intraoral Scanner
The Primescan is an intraoral scanner that allows us to take digital impressions of your teeth and mouth. It works quickly to capture and create 3D images of your mouth. Primescan aligns with the CEREC system. Using both systems, we can create restorations such as dental crowns and dental veneers. The scanner is a handheld device with a smaller tip that is waved around in the mouth to capture images. It allows us to fit you for restorations using a quick and comfortable process.
